As someone whose family has dealt with pre-existing conditions, Denise is committed to simplifying the bureaucratic process and lowering the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs. Denise will also be a firm advocate for protecting a woman’s right to make their own private reproductive healthcare decisions.
Denise earned her college degree while working full-time. In Lansing, she will fight to make sure all students and workers have access to trade school or college programs where they can earn a degree or develop the skills they need to get ahead.
Denise recognizes the pain people are feeling with increased prices and a changing economy. As State Representative, Denise would support measures that put money back into people’s wallets and keep good-paying jobs in Michigan, not ship them to China.
Denise has seen firsthand how a lack of investment in our water infrastructure from the state level can impact local communities in Macomb County. As your State Representative, Denise will fight to put the state’s budget surplus towards replacing old, outdated pipes and upgrading local water treatment plants
